Once you’ve determined that custom home building is the right move for you and your family, you will sit down with one of the partners at Haus custom homes and start to identify your custom home. How do you envision your custom home? How will the plan flow? What finishes are the most important to you? With this information, you will begin to collaborate with our in-haus design team to define what your custom home will be.

Research and development

Meet Trevor Birberick and Vince Djelaj, Haus Custom Homes’ partners and founders of 2:13 Design Works. Tell us about a typical day in your home. Are you an early riser? Do you spend a lot of time outside? Do you prepare your meals at home or spend your nights out? By answering questions like these, you help to inform us about the way that you use your home. We then can define the spaces and anticipate (and even help cultivate) the patterns and lifestyle you wish to achieve in your new home.

Architectural design

Trevor and Vince will derive a plan from the ideas, conversations and inspiration you have shared with them. Through several iterations of design meetings, your plans will be painstakingly refined to perfect every detail of your new home.

Contract Finalization

With the construction-ready plan set now in hand, it is time to zero in on the construction of your dream home. Now it is time to make it official! The team at Haus will price out every facet of your home as it has been drawn. Upon your approval, Haus will have you sign the purchase agreement.

DELIVER

Breaking Ground on Your Dream Home

Now that your dream home has been realized, it is time to bring it to life. You will receive a scheduled date for the groundbreaking of your custom home. You will also be notified at key milestones throughout the build process. An open line of communication is imperative to pulling off a successful build and we will strive to make you an active participant in the building process.

Your Haus Concierge

Customization is a fundamental principle of everything we do at Haus. While the structure of your home is underway, it is time to start selecting final finishes. With the guidance of our Haus Concierge, you’ll be directed through the process to hand-select the custom finishes for your home. We will also schedule each selection appointment for you and a member of our in-haus design team will take the time to help you coordinate each and every finish through out your new home.

Pre-Delivery Walkthrough

At the final stage of the project, you will walk the home with the Partners at Haus to ensure that the smallest details have been realized and that all your expectations have been met.

From Haus to Home

This is it! Every email, every plan mark-up, and every selection meeting has led to this point, your custom home is ready to be delivered. This moment is when a Haus becomes your home.
